I was able to find like minded neighbours who had similar connectivity problems to me and was able to place antennas on their properties to relay a reliable internet connection from Coolangatta to Piggabeen.

Your Local Broadband was established 7 years ago out of my frustration over the years dealing with unreliable ADSL and patchy mobile reception making it impossible to get a decent internet connection in Piggabeen.
Once this link was established, word spread and before I knew it, I was sharing my connection with a bunch of my immediate neighbours - who have all remained loyal customers to this day.
Over the years, as it became clear the NBN was never going to reach our community, I began to invest in serious equipment and established a dedicated business to cater for the growing number of users.
My main source of new customers has always been word of mouth.
